A Walk-in Interview will be held at 11.00 AM (IST) on Friday, the 17th January, 2014 in the Office of the HOD: Department of Education, Dibrugarh University for 2 (two) Posts of Assistant Professor(s) on contract basis (against maternity leave), at a remuneration of Rs.

General Qualification of the Applicant:
1. The applicant must be a citizen of India
2. The applicant must be medically fit.
3. A Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended or served
shall ordinarily accompany an application for the post.
4. The applicant must possess the minimum qualification for respective posts, as
specified below, with a good academic record having at least 55% of the marks at
the Masters Degree level in the subject concerned.
5. The applicant must have proficiency both in Assamese and English
6. Desirable: Ph. D and / or NET/ SLET/ SET
Post No. 1 : Qualification: M.A in Geography with B. Ed having Geography / Social Studies
Method Desirable: M.ED
Post No. 2:Qualification: M.A in Education or M.A /M. Sc with M. ED
Candidates will have to submit their Bio-data and attested photocopies of all relevant testimonials, along with a Registration fee of Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One Hundred, only) and register their names for the Interview on the 17th January 2014 latest by 10.30 AM (IST).
Method Desirable: M.ED
Post No. 2:Qualification: M.A in Education or M.A /M. Sc with M. ED
