1. Primary and Upper Primary Teacher (Elementary Education) Group ‘B’: 170 posts
a. Primary Teacher (Elementary Education): Class I- Class V
b. Upper Primary Teacher (Elementary Education): Class VI- Class VIII
Classification: Group ‘B’, Non- Gazette, Non- Ministerial, General Central Service posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band- 2 of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 per month.
Eligibility Criterion
Maximum Age limit: 30 years
Qualifications:
For primary teacher: Senior Secondary or equivalent and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)AND TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified.
For upper primary teacher: B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/ one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/ one year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR Senior Secondary or equivalent and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 4 year B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com.Ed. or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc./ B.Com.Ed AND TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

On the application, candidates should write in bold letters ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER/ UPPER PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER (ELEMENTARY EDUCATION).’
